Welcome to Lights Church ✨

We currently host “Prayer Marathon & Planning Meeting” twice a month on Zoom.

During our Prayer Marathon, we sing worship songs, learn about the mission history and current situation of a prefecture in Japan (e.g., Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hokkaido), and then pray together for revival—including the salvation and spiritual growth of its people. We invite you to join us, as our heartfelt prayers form the foundation for this revival. During Preparation Meeting, which takes place right after the Prayer Marathon, we plan and prepare for events and other things together. Our goal is to reach more people, help them come back to Jesus Christ, and grow to become more Christlike.

As shown in the blue flyer below (⇩), from November 2025, we started a brand-new event, “Online English Meet-Up (OEM)” held normally twice a month on Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 16:00 to 17:00 (Japan Time).

OEM provides a huge opportunity for Japanese people across Japan and beyond to practice speaking English. It also gives English-speaking Christians a wonderful chance to serve God through helping participants grow closer to Jesus Christ as they learn both English and Christianity online.

We invite you to join us as volunteers. You can learn more about Japanese people and culture and make many new friends for free. Our very first meeting was held on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, from 16:00–17:00 on Zoom as in this YouTube video ⇩. Since then, OEM continues, providing an invaluable chance to people.

Our next Online English Meet-Up will be held on Sunday, 18th January 2026, 20:00–21:00 (Japan Time) on ZOOM. Join our Slack group using this blue QR code (or this link) to receive updates and the ZOOM link to our online events. Our Slack group uses English and is free of charge.

We are looking for people to volunteer in the ministry of Lights Church✨ If you would like to volunteer using your skills or interests, please indicate them by referring to the following examples: (taking and sharing photos of beautiful flowers and landscapes, singing and playing musical instruments, composing and arranging music, printing and distributing note articles, shooting and editing videos, etc.)
